| Creating a One-Page Business Plan® |

Every organization, regardless of its size or purpose, should create a business plan for 2008. Most people carry some sort of plan around in their head, but without committing it to paper, they will lose focus and become distracted by tangential matters during the course of the year.
I made this error, too, until I was convinced otherwise by a colleague in an alumni group from "The Academy of Entrepreneurial Excellence." Fortunately, there is a simple solution for those of us with other pressing commitments. It's based on the book The One Page Business Plan® by Jim Horan.

The following case studies were compiled for our firm's revamped website scheduled for launch in about a month.
Case study #1: What happens when an elected official proposes a 23 percent tax hike a week before his election?
Case study #2: Whom should you call to preserve a historical treasure?
Case study #3: How should you respond when you receive spam e-mail from the State of Connecticut?
